Well, I've officially decided that I'm going to try to get published with Forty-Eight Alone. However, I'm going to go ahead and do the "pre-se-sidequel" and bundle the two together as a Book One/Book Two type deal. So there's no telling when I'll be done. For now, 48A is not available anywhere online. If anybody wants to read what I have at the moment, I can probably let you if you get ahold of me.

I'm gonna be engaging in my revision of Forty-Eight Alone this summer. It's going to be kick-ass. I will keep its page on this website updated as I go along, so check back every few weeks to see what's going on with it.

It takes a lot in a piece of fiction to keep my attention for very long, so I was surprised that the story Dare by Melina Catts was able to captivate me for the hour or two necessary to finish. I guess it has elements that appeal to me. It's the classic "dying parent brings the family back together again" setup, but it has deviations from the standard formula that I appreciated. I recommend reading it.

Well, for what it's worth this is my new site. I'm going to be emphasizing less in my life now on any form of blogging or journaling and more on keeping up with my fiction. I'd rather spend my time doing that than recording boring details about my life for no purpose.

The interface needs some tweaks still, but it's nothing major. I'm running Drupal, and it's quite perfect for my needs, unlike most of the CMS's I've tried. Thanks go to my friend Kept Blue for introducing me to it.

Right now, I've got the new site up and working on my invisible but excellent me-only subdomain. I'm slowly adding my content onto it. When I am done, I will switch over the subdomains to go live. For now... it's just red.
